白斑橡皮树为檬皮树的变种之一。其叶片比一般品种大,厚革质,具光泽及白斑,椭圆形,作为园林彩化树种及室内大中型盆栽,均具有极高的观赏价值,近几年正逐步大量推广使用。根据笔者的实践,白斑橡皮树可用茎插法繁殖。茎插(全光照喷雾扦插)法是一种较实用的方法。在南方可在4月至7月底8月初进行。茎插包括:a.带顶芽枝插;b.不带顶芽枝插(硬枝插);c.芽叶插。其中,带顶芽嫩枝插基部较易腐烂,扦插成活率在50％左右,成活率及繁殖系数均较低。而1～2年生半木质化、木质化枝条扦插较易生根,常规扦插成活率可达80％以上,是较好的繁殖方法。唯一的缺点是繁殖系数低。特别是刚引进讨枝条有限,很难快速繁
