对四川南部上三叠统须家河组第 4段 ( T3 xj4 )中的 5层 TONSTEINS做了较详细的岩石学、地球化学研究。结果表明 ,它们都是同沉积的酸性火山灰 ,在泥炭沼泽环境下 ,经过水解和后期成岩作用 ,转变成质地较纯的高岭石粘土岩。 TONSTEINS的岩石结构类型较简单 ,以致密型和团粒—致密型为主 ,结晶型较少。同层 TONSTEIN的岩石结构类型和某些亲石元素含量及组合关系在较大范围内保持稳定 ,并具有显著的标志性 ;TONSTEIN是区域煤层对比和建立年代地层格架的最重要的基准层
A detailed petrological and geochemical study was conducted on the fifth TONSTEINS in T3xj4 of Upper Triassic Xujiahe Formation in southern Sichuan. The results show that all of them are co-deposited acidic pozzolans, which are transformed into kaolinite clay rocks of relatively pure texture through hydrolysis and later diagenesis in a peat swamp environment. TONSTEINS rock structure type is relatively simple, dense and compact - dense type, less crystalline. TONSTEIN in the same layer types of rock structure and some lithofacies content and composition of the relationship remained stable over a large area, and has a significant landmark; TONSTEIN regional coal seam contrast and the establishment of the most important reference layer of stratigraphic framework
