In recent years, some studies on colloidal surface chemistry and mineralogy have made sense for improving oxide flotation. This article describes the oxide impurities and hydrolysis and other factors on the isoelectric point. Oxide surface adsorption is suitable for heterogeneous adsorption models. Experiments and models of adsorption on the alumina surface show that the free energy of the hydrocarbon chain per collector decreases more than that of micelle formation during the formation of the semi-micelle. Collector double layer adsorption occurs, affecting buoyancy. There are three mechanisms for the cation to adsorb on the oxide surface, of which the adsorption mechanism of the complexation reaction has attracted attention. There are five commonly used ways to improve oxide flotation.
