After several adjustments, Mid-Infrared Instrument (MIRI) cryogenic refrigeration system in James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), which is scheduled to be launched in 2018, will eventually use three-stage pulse cooling Machine pre-cooling JT (Joule-Thomson) cycle of composite low temperature refrigeration technology. The development course of the technology is introduced in detail, which shows that the composite cryogenic refrigeration technology has gradually replaced the hydrogen or liquid helium Dewar technology in the space mission with a view to provide reference for the implementation of the national future space project.
