武汉纺织大学艺术与设计学院的艺术设计专业,创建于1982年,该学院也成为湖北省高校中最早开办艺术设计专业的三所院校之一。该校的综合学科背景,为本专业的艺术设计理念、现代科技思维和技术应用方面的学科交叉与拓展,提供了良好的基础和条件。该院有着二十多年的办学历史,逐渐建构了一套属于自己的、鲜明的教育观念、办学理念、办学特色、管理特色、学科特色和教学体系;也拥有了一支具有敬业精神和创新精神的“双师型”教师队伍,在全国树立了良好的办学声誉和品牌形象。
