为适应高亮度光源或高分辨力显示的需要,已研制出一种具有单晶体荧光屏的小型阴极射线管。这些新近研制的荧光屏用掺杂铈的钇铝石榴石(YAG)外延生长在商售的钇铝石榴石衬底上构成。这种屏的热传导性能异常好,并且光学图象清晰。文中介绍了管子结构以及它的两种工作模式的性能。
In order to meet the needs of high brightness light source or high resolution display, a small cathode ray tube having a single crystal phosphor screen has been developed. These newly developed phosphors were epitaxially grown on cerium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) on a commercially available yttrium aluminum garnet substrate. The thermal conductivity of this screen is exceptionally good and the optical image is clear. This article describes the tube structure and its two operating modes of performance.
