当前,随着国有企业改革深化和产业结构调整,就业和再就业已成为社会关注的热点问题。能否解决好劳动者就业问题,直接关系到广大职工群众的切身利益,关系到国有企业改革的成败,关系到改革、发展、稳定的大局。党的十五届五中全会通过的《中共中央关于制定国民经济和社会发展第十个五年计划的建议》中,把就业和社会保障作为一个重大问题独立列出,当作一个重大战略问题予以重视,这对我们做好当前和今后一个时期的就业工作具有十分重要的指导意义。

In the “Proposal of the CPC Central Committee on Formulating the Tenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development” adopted by the Fifth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee, employment and social security are listed independently as a major issue and taken as a major strategic issue It is of great importance to us to do a good job in employment at present and in the coming period.
