本研究探讨昆明山海棠稀醇提取物(TH)对雄性大鼠生育力的影响。成年雄性SD大鼠用昆明山海棠根50%乙醇提取物灌胃给药,剂量每日2.0g/kg,每周6次,共5周,所有用药鼠均丧失生育能力。大鼠体重增长与对照组相似,性行为存在。用药至第6周剖杀,附睾精子活率和密度明显下降,畸形精子明显增多,部分大鼠睾丸曲细精管受损,而支持细胞和间质细胞均无明显改变。血清睾(?)、K~+、Na~+水平以及体内主要脏器,包括心、肺、肾、肝和脾光镜观察,与对照组无明显差异。结果表明,无毒剂量的TH可致雄性大鼠不育。
This study was to investigate the effect of Kunming Mountain jelly alcohol extract (TH) on fertility of male rats. Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were intragastrically administered with a 50% ethanol extract of Kunming Mountain Begonia root at a dose of 2.0 g/kg daily for 6 weeks, for a total of 5 weeks. All rats sacrificed their fertility. The weight gain of rats was similar to that of the control group and sexual behavior existed. At the 6th week of treatment, the sperm viability and density in the epididymis decreased significantly, and the number of abnormal sperms increased. Some of the rats’ testicular seminiferous tubules were damaged, while the supporting cells and stromal cells were not significantly changed. Serum testosterone (?), K~+, Na~+ levels, and major organs in the body, including heart, lung, kidney, liver, and spleen were observed by light microscopy, and there was no significant difference from the control group. The results showed that non-toxic doses of TH can cause male infertility.
