Cr12型高铬钢具有高淬透性、高机械强度、高耐磨性和热处理变形小的特点。因此常用来做冷变形模具。这类钢的热处理工艺有两种:一是“一次硬化乡工艺,即通常在980~1030℃加热;二是“二次硬化”工艺,加热温度在1115℃以上。但是都需要有一套高温加热设备,但在一般小厂都缺乏这种设备,而应用中温设备来加热会严重地影响设备的使用寿命。为此,我们研究了“低”温淬火工艺,几年来进行了一大批Cr12型高铬钢的冷冲模、硅钢片落料模、冷剪切刀的热处理,实践证明效果较好。
