目前,大学英语教学中,学生读写能力普遍过关,而会话能力、交际能力较差,造成这种现象的原因是我国传统英语教学在口语教材和教学方法方面相对滞后。建构主义学习理论不但强调学习者对客观知识的内在建构,而且重视教学中师生、生生之间的社会性相互作用,因此该理论中的合作学习、交互式教学在英语口语教学中应被广为采用。
