递归性是指语言结构层次和言语生成中相同结构成分的重复或相套。它使语言具有了无限的创造性。汉语递归结构显现了我们独特的民族文化内蕴:语词和句法的递归展现了中华民族崇尚“平衡对称”的审美传统,以及思维特点上注重语言的心理时空,善于整体归纳总结。汉语递归结构通过“递归性”反复在线性、序列性、层次性方面发挥着强调主题信息的语用功能。
Recursive refers to the repetition or set of the same structural elements in the level of language structure and speech generation. It makes the language infinitely creative. The Chinese recursive structure reveals our unique national cultural connotations: the recursion of words and syntax shows the aesthetic tradition of the Chinese nation in respect of “balanced symmetry” and the mental space-time that focuses on the characteristics of thinking, and is good at summarizing the whole. The recursive structure of Chinese plays the pragmatic function of emphasizing thematic information repeatedly, linearly, serially and hierarchically through “recursive ”.
