夏吉宣,中国国际广播电台(以下简称国际台)副台长,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家。1982年毕业于上海外国语学院英语系,同年分配到国际台,担任英语节目采访、翻译和制作工作。1987年公派赴美国密苏里新闻学院攻读文学(新闻)硕士学位,1989年毕业后回到国际台工作,先后担任英语部《时事报道》节目主编、英语部副主任和英语环球广播中心主任等职。2001年被任命为国际台副台长,分管财务、技术、节目海外落地和在线广播建设。曾获中央组织部等六部委颁发的“留学回国人员成就奖”、中直机关颁发的“优秀青年干部”称号。国际台担负着用43种语言向全世界广播的任务,是世界主要国际广播电台之一。近些年来,国际台广播数字化、网络化取得了很大进展,数字化程度已经达到80%以上,其“国际在线”网站在“最具知名度的国际广播电台网站”的排名中,已经超过美国之音、BBC等西方主要国际广播电台的网站,名列全球第一(据美国Alexa网站2005年初统计)。我们与夏副台长的这次访谈就是从广播数字化开始的。

International Taiwan is tasked with broadcasting to the world in 43 languages and is one of the major international radio stations in the world. In recent years, great progress has been made in the digitization and networking of international broadcasting stations. The digitization level has reached more than 80%. Its “International Online” website has surpassed the United States in the rankings of “the most famous international radio station website” Tone, BBC and other Western major international radio stations, ranked first in the world (according to the United States Alexa website early 2005 statistics).
