I am now a teacher at Liaoning Normal University. The school in 1963 set up Japanese major, began to recruit undergraduate four-year students. In 1966, due to the interruption of the “Cultural Revolution”, the system of entrance examination to colleges and universities in China was resumed in 1978. By June 1987, a total of more than 280 undergraduates (including 32 undergraduates) had been graduated, more than 350 advanced and junior college students were enrolled; more than 80 current students were enrolled. Our school is a higher normal school, mainly to train secondary school Japanese teachers. However, in fact, graduates, apart from teaching in secondary schools, have quite a few who are active in various tertiary institutions as well as foreign trade and scientific intelligence departments.
