在解读太极图式的“象”符号基础上,参照太极图式,融合中国的“象”思维和西方的逻辑思维,构建出和合翻译思想之“对本位象”和“自本体象”。“对本位象”表征为“文本中心(太极)—语言与文化双相(两仪)—翻译规律·社会环境·译者创生三位(三才)—翻译研究的多重视角(八卦)”的连续体,从中凸显四对相生相克的典型对立面连续体:语言与文化—文本的语言符号与意蕴—时代背景与社会思潮—译者的描摹与有限创造行为,并进而构成语言—文本意蕴—社会思潮—译者的描摹行为—译者的有限创造—时代背景—文本的语言符号—文化—再回到语言的大循环运行秩序;“自本体象”追问了和合翻译思想之本然,包括形态结构及其表征,和自然特征。
