当今时代是一个快速发展的时代,由于计算机和现代信息技术的飞速发展,教育得到了前所未有的发展。高新技术的基础是应用科学,而应用科学的基础是数学,快速发展在依赖数学发展的同时也极大地促进数学的发展。今天的数学不仅在几乎所有的自然科学领域都获得到了应用,而且还越来越来地被用于各个领域,充分显示了数学的威力及其多方面的实用性。数学已从幕后走到前台,直接为社会创造价值,数学已成为生产力的基本要素。因此,如何培养高中学生的数学应用能力尤为重要。
