故事教学是以故事为载体,以兴趣为动力,以语言训练为目标,以思维发展为根本的一种有效的教学方式。故事教学将学生喜欢的故事和英语课堂学习有机地结合起来,通过读故事、听故事、演故事、编故事等方式来培养学生的自主学习能力、语言运用能力和综合想象能力,不仅有利于提高学生学习英语的积极性,还有利于学生吸收、消化和理解所学语言,同时扩大了语言的输入和储备,丰富了学生的情感体验,遵循了儿童心理学的规律,适应了儿童学英语的特点,对于提高英语课堂教学效果具有重要的作用。那么,如何在小学英语课堂上有效地运用故事教学呢?笔者结合自身的一些做法从四个方面谈谈故事教学在英语课堂上的应用。

The author discusses the application of storytelling in English classroom from four aspects in combination with some of its own practices.
