马尔库塞在批判现存社会的基础上,提出了如何改变它们,走向新社会的“乌托邦革命理论”。他的革命理论最引人注目之处一是把人“爱欲”的解放作为革命的主要动因;二是把“新左派”和青年学生作为革命的依靠力量;三是把改变人的本能结构作为实现革命的方式。不可否认,马尔库塞的革命理论包涵若干的真知灼见,有其存在的合理性。但,由于他极端夸大人的主观能动性,片面强调意识在历史发展中的决定作用,他的革命理论最终只能滑向乌托邦的深渊。
On the basis of criticizing the existing society, Marcuse proposed the “Utopian Revolutionary Theory” of how to change them and move toward a new society. One of the most striking features of his revolutionary theory is that the emancipation of man and his love are the main motivation for the revolution. The second is to rely on the new left and young students as the basis for their revolution. The third is to change Human instinct structure as a way to achieve revolution. Admittedly, Marcuse’s revolutionary theory contains a number of insights and its rationality. However, because of his extreme exaggeration of the subjective initiative of man and the one-sided emphasis on the decisive role of consciousness in historical development, his revolutionary theory can only eventually slide to the abyss of utopia.
