《是非关系》是毛泽东同志《论十大关系》一文的第九部分,着重论述了对待犯了错误的同志的方针以及实行这一方针的重大意义。本文分三个部分。第1—2段是第一部分,提出了中心论点,并用反证法对正确方针加以论证。本文开头第一句话是“党内党外都要分清是非”。这是解决人民内部矛盾的前提。只有分清了是非,才有可能正确处理人民内部矛盾。是非不清,必然迷失方向,必然说错话、办错事、出乱子。“分清是非”既是本文论题的出发点,又是它的归宿。
The “Relationship between Right and Wrong” is the ninth part of Comrade Mao Zedong’s article on “The Ten Major Relations,” which focuses on the significance of treating the guilty comrades and the significance of implementing this policy. This article is divided into three parts. Paragraphs 1–2 are the first part, put forward the central argument, and use the counter-evidence method to demonstrate the correct policy. The first sentence at the beginning of this article is “All parties within the party must distinguish between right and wrong.” This is the prerequisite for resolving the internal contradictions among the people. Only by distinguishing right from wrong can it be possible to correctly handle the internal contradictions among the people. Uncertainty is bound to lose its way, and it is bound to say something wrong, do wrong things, and cause trouble. “Distinguishing between right and wrong” is both the starting point of this paper’s thesis and its destination.
