萘乙酸鈉是一种良好的植物生長刺激素。我国已有许多药厂进行大量生产,但各厂采用化验方法不同。茲將我处试用的化驗方法介紹如下。萘乙酸鈉是一种有机酸的鈉鹽,易溶于水。易被强酸游离出萘乙酸,其本身不溶于有机溶剂。萘乙酸稍溶于水(25℃初溶42mg/1),易溶于氯仿,酒精和乙醚。利用强酸游离出萘乙酸,用有机溶剂提取,酸硷滴定,测定其萘乙酸含量,计算出鈉鹽。结果誤差在0.2%以內。
Naphthyl acetate is a good plant growth stimulant. There are many pharmaceutical factories in China that have mass production, but different factories use different testing methods. We will introduce the testing methods that we tried at our company as follows. Naphthyl acetate is a sodium salt of an organic acid and is readily soluble in water. Naphthalene acetic acid is easily liberated by strong acid and is insoluble in organic solvents. NAA is slightly soluble in water (42 mg/1 at 25°C) and soluble in chloroform, alcohol and ether. Naphthalene acetic acid was liberated by strong acid, extracted with organic solvent, acid hydrazine titration, and the naphthalene acetic acid content was measured to calculate the sodium salt. The resulting error is within 0.2%.
