思想政治教育是提升执政党和政府治理能力的重要途径。思想政治教育在推动国民素养现代化、政治文化现代化方面扮演着重要角色,为国家治理体系现代化提供着公民品格的保障和文化心理的支撑。新的历史条件下,思想政治教育要根据国家治理体系现代化的趋势和要求,首先实现自身的现代化,为国家治理培养积极公民、责任公民和道德公民。
Ideological and political education is an important way to improve the governance ability of the ruling party and government. Ideological and political education plays an important role in promoting the modernization of the nationalities and in the political and cultural modernization. It provides the guarantee of the citizen’s character and the cultural psychology for the modernization of the state governing system. Under the new historical conditions, ideological and political education should, first of all, modernize itself according to the trend and requirements of the modernization of the state governing system and cultivate active citizens, responsible citizens and moral citizens for state governance.
