The site of the Olympic Games, quickly filled in Sydney wetlands, was forced to change plans due to a group of frogs. The construction project is the largest in Australia, costing 2 billion Australian dollars. This is not an ordinary frog, but a frog called litteriaaurea, also known as the yellow bell frog. It is large in shape and bright in color, and is an endangered species of frog. Homebush Bay is Sydney’s main venue for the 2000 Olympic Games. The project was suspended for weeks, waiting for planners to study how to handle the hundreds of frogs. The natural environment that kills or destroys these frogs will face the Australian National Parks and Wildlife Act
