本研究调查了上海市中级口译资格证书考试(第二部分)对大学生的英语学习的影响。研究人员主要采用了定性研究的方法,通过向49名来自不同专业和背景的大学生发放调查问卷以及对其中的5名学生进行较为深入的访谈收集了相关数据。然后,研究人员从大学生英语学习的五个方面对数据进行了分析,即学习动机,学习内容,学习策略,对此考试的整体印象以及准备考试是否促进了他们英语水平的提高。通过对这些数据的分析发现,此考试对大学生的英语学习产生了正反两方面的反拨作用。
This study investigated the impact of the Shanghai Intermediate Interpretation Exam (Part 2) on college students’ English learning. The researchers mainly used qualitative research methods to collect relevant data by sending questionnaires to 49 undergraduates from different professions and backgrounds and conducting in-depth interviews with 5 of them. Then, the researchers analyzed the data from five aspects of college English learning: motivation to learn, learning content, learning strategies, overall impressions of the exam, and preparation for examinations to promote their English proficiency. Through the analysis of these data, it is found that this test has played both positive and negative roles in college students’ English learning.
