Background: Cerebral palsy is a group of disorders that are related but probably have different causes. Children who have cerebral palsy acquire the disorder before or during or after birth. rnObjective: To discuss the relationship between the TORCH infection and cerebral palsy onset . rnDesign : A TORCH screen is given to the children who have cerebral palsy in our hospital(1996.1～ 1998.6). A TORCH screen checks to see if the baby has been infected by any of the common causes.
