《星报》和《天南新报》是新加坡早期汉文报刊,二报发行时间与《叻报》相较,时间较短。其创办者分别为林衡南和邱菽园。二报中刊有与《红楼梦》相关资料:《星报》刊发一篇与《红楼梦》相关短文及邱菽园题咏红楼梦人物诗数十首;《天南新报》中刊发邱菽园好友为其著作《红楼梦绝句》所作题诗及序。二报现存诗歌与国家图书馆藏邱菽园所著《红楼梦绝句》相较,二者基本相同,但也有着相异之处。二报刊发相关作品时间要早于《红楼梦绝句》。
“Star” and “Tian Nanxin Bao” is an early Chinese newspaper in Singapore, the second newspaper release time compared with “LAT”, a short time. Its founder were Lin Heng Nan and Qiuyi Park. The second newspaper contains information related to “A Dream of Red Mansions”: “The Star” published an essay with “A Dream of Red Mansions” essay and dozens of poems of Qiu Pei Yuan Park friends for his book “A Dream of Red Mansus” by the poem and preface. Compared with the “Red Mansion Quatrains” by Qiu Yuan Garden in the National Library of China, the two existing poems are basically the same, but they also have some differences. Second newspaper published related works earlier than the “Dream of Red Mansions quatrains.”
