The night is always full of imagination: the glittering neon on the Bund, New York’s Times Square, and Las Vegas will bring people’s emotions to a climax; the dinners on Bali Island and the temples in Kyoto, Japan are quiet and laid back; The Tiananmen Square and the central axis of Washington, DC, are majestic at night. Urban planning and design did not invent electric lights at the beginning of development, so nighttime landscapes were ignored. Once there is lighting, it is allowed to develop, which leads to competition, light and damage. In fact, the night scene is like a piece of music. The same tune can be a majestic military music, a symphony or a rock song. “Light” is just like an arranger, which will compose a night view of our city. The biggest objective of nighttime landscape planning is to ensure that the city will not become a fragment of light at night, while extending the urban structure of the day, taking into account visual safety and people’s activities
