春秋到战国,知识分子对“诗”的使用方式发生改变,“断章取义”的引诗成为用诗的主要方式,背离了周初礼乐文化的精神实质。在这样的情况下,以孔子为代表的儒家学者出于时代的需求对“诗”进行了主动的选择性阐释,重树经典,以求得在新时期取得话语权,影响了其后的士人用诗的态度与方法。
