我连钻孔所穿过的各层岩石物理力学性质比较复杂，岩矿心不易采取。到七一年底为止，完工的60个孔，平均岩心采取率24.4％平均矿心采取率17％。按规范要求，没有一个合格孔。提高岩、矿心采取率一度成为提高工程质量的关键。七二年来，我连深入开展路线教育，充分发动群众，采取一些行之有效的技术措施，第二季度岩、矿心采取率大幅度上升，岩心采取率提高到78％，矿心采取率提高到89.7％。矿区钻孔深度在40米到250米之间，一般孔深80—160米，岩石按物理力学性质分四类：
