Chusov Metallurgical Plant produces the following products: vanadium-bearing sinter, vanadium-bearing pig iron, vanadium-bearing slag, vanadium pentoxide and vanadium-iron alloy. The complete metallurgical production system, combined with the hydrometallurgical process (production of vanadium pentoxide and ferrovanadium), enables both comprehensive research and reasonable smelting processes to ensure optimal results without investing too much. The most effective use of vanadium-bearing wastes, which often contain large amounts of sulfuric acid and other harmful components that pollute the environment. The use of waste also improves economic indicators as it increases resources for vanadium-containing feedstocks and the current demand is very large.
