1983年从南京蚕豆苗上采得斑驳症状的标样,分离到病毒标样B-98。用汁液摩擦接种在10科50种植物上,有7科20种植物表现不同类型的症状。在苋色藜上产生大块的褪色枯斑,在油菜、青菜上产生系统花叶症状。热钝化温度为55—60℃,稀释限点为10~(-3)—10~(-4),体外存活期为11天(8℃)。不能经蚜虫传播,也不能经种子传毒。病叶的汁液及粗提纯样品在电镜下均可见到大小为680—850×12—15nm的线状病毒粒体。免疫电镜和SDS-琼脂免疫双扩散试验表明,病毒分离物B-98与芜菁花叶病毒有十分密切的血清学关系。B-98为芜菁花叶病毒的一个非蚜传株系,定名为TuMV-NAT株系。
In 1983 from Nanjing Vicia faba on the mottled samples taken standard, isolated from the virus standard B-98. Immune electron microscopy and SDS-agar immunoprecipitation double-diffusion assay showed that the virus isolate B-98 has a very close serological relationship with turnip mosaic virus. B-98 is a non-aphid-resistant strain of turnip mosaic virus designated as TuMV-NAT strain.
