地震是不可预知的灾害,它给人类带来的灾害是不可估量的,我国大约有2/3的大城市处于地震区,历次地震都在不同程度上对建筑物造成损坏,震害较为严重地集中在老旧民房和砌体建筑,钢筋混凝土建筑、特别是高层钢筋混凝土建筑的破坏相对较少。全世界的工程抗震实践证明,除理论和实验研究外,震害经验是工程抗震的重要基础之一,也是人类防御地震灾害的共同精神财富。因此,对地震中各类建筑和工程设施的震害进行分析研究,总结经验教训,对改进建筑抗震设计和施工具有十分重要的意义。现分析探讨了震害的原因及吸取的教训,以及各种加固技术综述。
