外语教育的基本要素是外语教师、学生、外语和教育教学环境。纵观数十年来围绕外语基本要素开展的研究,语言学界、应用语言学界对英语的研究成果累累。然而,对语言教育领域的语言教师科研明显是薄弱环节。语言教师在语言教育中的重要性不容置疑;而语言教师教育与发展研究的数量匮乏,反差极大。因此,进行以教师专业化为核心的教师教育研究,正成为外语界同仁关注的热点。本文以教师导师制为切入点,对教师专业化的认识、教师专业化发展的内容、途径及专业化发展对教师的要求等诸方面进行论述,以探讨独立学院英语教师实施导师制对青年教师专业化发展的促进作用。
The basic elements of foreign language education are foreign language teachers, students, foreign languages and education and teaching environment. Throughout decades of research conducted around the basic elements of foreign languages, linguistics and applied linguistics have made great achievements in English. However, the research of language teachers in the field of language education is obviously a weak link. The importance of language teachers in language education is beyond doubt. However, the number of language teacher education and development studies is scarce and contrasts greatly.
