改革开放新时期以来,史学研究繁荣和发展的标志之一是社会史研究的复兴和高潮迭起。然而,迄今为止,全国还没有一部权威性的当代社会史或包括当代社会史在内的中国社会通史问世。无论从中国通史的一个断代史(中华人民共和国史)的角度审视,还是从中国正在经历并将长期经历的一个社会形态史(社会主义史)的角度审视,当代社会史都是一个亟待填补的空白。中华人民共和国史研究者要以学习和贯彻中共十六届六中全会精神为契机,加大力度研究与中国特色社会主义事业四位一体总体布局中社会建设相对应的当代社会史,把当代社会史提上研究日程,为构建社会主义和谐社会提供历史依据和理论支撑。
Since the new era of reform and opening up, one of the hallmarks of the prosperity and development of historiography has been the revival and climax of the study of social history. However, up to now, there is no authoritative contemporary social history in China or the opening of a general history of Chinese society including contemporary social history. Whether viewed from the perspective of a long history of the general history of China (the history of the People’s Republic of China), or from the perspective of a social history of history (history of socialism) that China is experiencing and long-term going through, contemporary social history is a gap to be filled. . History researchers of the People’s Republic of China should take the opportunity of studying and implementing the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee, intensifying efforts to study the contemporary social history corresponding to the social construction in the overall four-in-one layout of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, Shi put on the research agenda, to provide a historical basis and theoretical support for building a socialist harmonious society.
