对于收藏和藏品背后信息的研究往往让历史学者和收藏家们唏嘘不已,感慨万千。然而为了让这些精美绝伦的藏品和其背后的故事重见天日,传播给更多热衷于文化、历史的爱好者们,文物工作者和各方人士都在贡献着自己的力量。虽然大量收购中国文物的机会变得微乎其微,但仍然有一些零散的小型收购和个人捐赠为ROM的馆藏添砖加瓦。除了莱斯蕾夫人于1940年捐赠的三件玉器、包儿先生于1947年捐赠的一件红山时期玉器、弗雷德里克·蔻万夫人于1948至1961年期间陆续捐赠的
The study of the collection and collection of information behind often let historians and collectors marveled, filled with emotion.
