语言具有三大要素,语音、词汇、语法。在这三大要素中,词汇是语音的内核,是语法系统赖以运行的基础。同时,词汇是听、说、读、写四项英语运用基本技能的基础。高职高专英语教学应立足于语言的基本体系,找准着力点,否则就会失去根基,失去方向。但在实际教学中,英语词汇教学往往是师生用时颇多,成效最不理想。本文旨在描述高职英语词汇教学的问题,分析其原因,提出改进词汇教学的策略。
Language has three major elements, voice, vocabulary, grammar. Among the three elements, vocabulary is the kernel of speech and the basis of the grammar system. At the same time, vocabulary is to listen, say, read, write the basic skills of four basic English skills. English teaching in higher vocational colleges should be based on the basic system of language, identify the focus, otherwise it will lose its foundation and lose its direction. However, in actual teaching, English vocabulary teaching is often a lot of time teachers and students, the most unsatisfactory results. The purpose of this paper is to describe the problem of vocational English vocabulary teaching, analyze the reasons and put forward the tactics of improving vocabulary teaching.
