Kaposi’s sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is the etiology of tumors such as Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS). A series of studies have shown that the interaction between KSHV virus and Notch signaling pathway molecules plays an important role in regulating KSHV replication and promoting tumorigenesis. Notch signaling pathway consists of ligands, receptors, transcription factors, and effector molecules. Adjacent cells regulate Notch signaling to regulate cell differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis, organ formation and morphogenesis. This review summarizes the role of KSHV in regulating Notch signaling and the role of Notch signaling in KSHV replication and tumorigenesis.
