汉字在对外汉语教学中的地位,近年来逐渐受到学界的关注。国家对外汉语教学领导小组办公室和世界汉语教学学会曾于1997年、1998年分别举行过汉字与汉字教学研究专题讨论会。现在的状况似乎可以这样说:虽然还存在是不是、应该不应该重视汉字教学,即字重要还是词重要这样的问题,而就加强汉字教学而言,应当说已经找到了症结所在,这就是: 无论在语言学和教学理论方面,在教材的编写原则方面甚至在课程设置方面,不承认中国文字的特殊性以及不正确处理中国文字和语
Chinese characters in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in recent years gradually by the academic community’s attention.
