美国开发八十年代导弹推进技术的主要突破口是:强调提高远射能力,躲避防御武器系统所需的作战灵活性,继续开发更有效、更负担得起的导弹。 助推—滑翔弹道(boost-glide trajec-tory)是空军正在鉴定的一种能显著提高空射导弹射程的概念。根据这个概念,首先把导弹射入抛物弹道,而后在接近抛物弹道曲线顶点附近按滑翔方式飞行。
The major breakthroughs in the United States in the development of missile propulsion technology in the 1980s are to continue to develop more effective and affordable missiles by emphasizing the enhancement of long-range capabilities and the operational flexibility needed to defend weapons systems. The boost-glide trajec- tory is a concept being identified by the Air Force that significantly increases the range of air-to-air missiles. According to this concept, the missile is first launched into a parabolic trajectory and then flown glide near the apex of the parabolic trajectory curve.
