Therefore, the leaching method of the finely ground ore is valued. The method is to pre-treat the finely divided ore with concentrated sulfuric acid and to mature in the heap for several days and nights in order to agglomerate the fine ore (-6.4 mm). The acid-treated coarse ore (+ 6.4mm) is mixed with the fine ore in a conical pile for maturation (the coarse fraction in the pile should be greater than 25%). This paper studies the method of changing ore preparation and improving heap leaching efficiency of carbonate copper mine. It has been shown that by stacking piles of coarse ores (+10 mm) below, the semicircle piles (-10 mm) are sequentially stacked
