All people in the world are exposed to radio frequency or microwave energy to varying degrees. Some authors have suggested that human immunocompetent cells are particularly sensitive to microwaves. However, at least some of them admit that these studies are not reproducible and cannot be quantified. Despite this, they are often quoted and have become limited information on the exposure of human leukocytes that can be used when setting environmental health standards. In animal systems, due to differences in germlines, variations in microwave energy intensity, changes in environmental conditions and other factors, it is necessary to extrapolate animal experiment data to people even if it is appropriate.
