Glenn等1978年曾报道不同地区响尾蛇毒素对小鼠的LD_(50)有很大差异。亚利桑那州南部和加州的响尾蛇毒力强,腹腔注射小鼠LD_(50)为0.13～0.54mg/ks,称毒素A。
In 1978, Glenn et al. Reported that there was a great difference in the LD_ (50) of crotoxin in different regions of mice. Rattlesnake venom was found to be virulent in southern Arizona and California. LD 50 of mice injected intraperitoneally was 0.13-0.54 mg / ks, which was called toxin A.
