Hepatitis B virus is transmitted by hemodialysis machines, hepatitis B virus carriers and blood transfusions in the nephrology department. In theory, it seems unlikely that intact virus particles will pass through the dialysis membrane because the dialysis membrane has a micropore diameter of only 30-90 (?), While Dane particles (Hepatitis B virus particles) are 42nm. The virus DNA or nucleocapsid may be an infectious agent, however, these two types of particles have not been isolated so far. The authors observed that 20% of hemodialysis patients with hepatitis B virus present HBsAg in their dialysis ultrafiltrate using different hemodialysis systems (HD). The subjects were a group of 30 cases of HBsAg positive serum
