藏传佛教绘画的主流画派之一新噶玛噶智画派由第十世噶玛巴·曲英多杰创立于17世纪,该派画风以传统噶玛噶智画派的技法和艺术思想为基础。曲英多杰一生辗转,去过很多地方,因而有机会接触到多种艺术流派,而绘画创作始终伴随其一生,其早期以噶玛噶智画派风格为主,其个人风格的成熟是在丽江期间,以内地没骨画技法结合云南民族绘画的色彩体系而形成独特的画风。
