经过一年多的修缮,新的前门大街于8月7日重新开街。这条历经几个世纪的古老商街以其崭新的姿态迎接来自海内外的游客,一展新世纪的繁华。开街一周后,记者来到新的前门大街,感受这里的老北京韵味。呈现在游客面前的新前门大街,是按照民国初年的老照片修缮的。在街口东侧,有一个展示前门大街改造的展厅,游客可以在这里看到前门大街改造前后的对比照片。据前门大街工程设计总监王世仁介绍,规划方案前后共修改了9次,最终把“保存真实史迹,再现记忆符号”确定为修缮原则。 After more than a year of renovation, the new Qianmen Street reopened on August 7. According to Wang Shiren, director of engineering design at Qianmen Avenue, a total of 9 changes were made before and after the planning program, and finally the principle of “repair” was defined as “preservation of real historical sites and reproduction of memory symbols”.
