In the calculation of building mechanical structure, the internal force analysis of continuous beams is usually solved by the method of moment distribution. However, this method sometimes converges slowly, allocates more times of transmission, is computationally complicated and error-prone. In this paper, an iterative method for calculating moments with unknown moments is introduced, which has the merits of fast convergence and automatic error elimination. The mathematical essence of this method is the solving of simultaneous equations by the Schneider iteration method. The analysis of the internal force of the guide rail frame of 1.2t elevators shows that the convergence rate is faster than the moment decomposition method and the calculation is still simple.
