盐渍土是西北地区铁路选线中经常遇到的不良工程地质问题,常常给工程带来许多困难。为了弄清盐渍土的分布情况,为铁路修建提供丰富的遥感信息,对青(海)新(疆)铁路规划线通过的盐渍土分布区博斯腾湖幅(美国陆地卫星1976年12月17日MSS图像)的库尔勒盆地进行了数字像图处理。使用的是IPOS101数字图像处理系统。根据该地区的地形地质条件和需探明的问题,研究中选用MSS图像中三个连续子区(包括512×512个像元)进行图像增强.主要进行了假彩色合成、比值增强和假彩色等密度分割等试验。
