分式方程是代数方程中的重要内容,但在解分式方程时,有时会产生增根.下面就有关增根问题谈几点. 一、弄清产生增根的原因 因为在将分式方程变形为整式方程时,扩大了未知数的取值范围,所以转化后的整式方程的根有可能不适合原分式方程,即产生了增根. 在什么情况下会出现增根呢? 在将分式方程转化为整式方程时,方程的两边乘以同一个含未知数的整式,而这个含有未知数的整式有可能等于零,因而就有可能产生增根.
