为了改善传统CTLE均衡器的均衡能力较低、使用大电容造成版图面积较大等缺点,设计了一款采用多级并联反馈网络的新型CTLE均衡器。该均衡器可用于高速串行通信,其频率补偿点以及补偿强度可调,能正确传输不同数据率的串行信号。基于SMIC 40nm CMOS工艺对电路进行设计,仿真结果显示,在6.25Gb/s的最大数据率下,最大补偿能力为13.8dB,平均功耗为0.7mW,版图尺寸为14.3μm×13μm。
In order to improve the balance ability of the traditional CTLE equalizer and lower the area of the layout due to large capacitance, a new CTLE equalizer with multi-stage parallel feedback network is designed. The equalizer can be used for high-speed serial communication, the frequency compensation point and the compensation intensity can be adjusted, the correct transmission of serial data at different data rates. The circuit is designed based on the SMIC 40nm CMOS process. The simulation results show that the maximum compensation rate is 13.8dB and the average power consumption is 0.7mW at the maximum data rate of 6.25Gb / s. The layout size is 14.3μm × 13μm.
