传统的中国书法篆刻艺术,已很普遍的出现在包装设计上,她与中国古代的绘画、图案,与现代摄影和图案结合在一起,散发出浓郁的民族气息,逐渐形成了具有中国特色的包装设计风格,但是,由于不少包装设计工作者比较注重美术字和外文美术字母的研究与练习,忽视了中国书法篆刻的学习,以至在实际运用中出现了这样或那样的问题和差错。甚至在得奖的包装设计作品中也有这种情况。现仅以发表过的作品为例,就发现不少这方面的问题:
