国际经合组织对青少年的综合素质评价体系中,把阅读素养列为评价的第一要素。由此可见阅读素养在评价中的重要作用。这一标准的设定,有其历史发展的背景,在当今社会,国际间的交往越来越频繁,很多青少年都游历过多个国家,他们在外出时经常会用到英语。再有,新课程理念下的英语教学,要求教师必须加强阅读能力的培养,以便适应新课程标准下的考试要求。新课程标准下的考试阅读量很大,范围很广,这些都要求教师在英语教学中加大阅读教学的力度和方法指导,提高学生的英语阅读素养,为学生的终身发展奠基。
In the evaluation system of comprehensive quality of adolescents, the OECD regards reading literacy as the first element of evaluation. This shows that reading literacy in the evaluation of the important role. The setting of this standard has its historical background. In today’s society, international exchanges have become more frequent. Many young people have traveled to many countries and often use English when going abroad. Furthermore, the English teaching under the new curriculum concept requires that teachers must enhance their reading ability in order to meet the examination requirements under the new curriculum standards. Under the new curriculum standards, examinations are widely read in a wide range. All of these require teachers to step up their reading instruction and instruction in English teaching so as to improve students’ English reading attainment and lay the foundation for their lifelong development.
