本文以新疆昌吉州辖区内的天山天池景区和杜氏旅游景区为例,分析了旅游资源丰度对旅游业发展的影响。研究发现,天山天池景区拥有得天独厚的旅游资源,但受制于靠山吃山的经营理念,景区开发和旅游业经营过度依赖优质旅游资源,形成了优质旅游资源的垄断经营,使得提升旅游业的创新能力和经营竞争力受到阻碍,导致景区旅游产品单一,季节性强,与区域经济的融合度低等问题。没有优质旅游资源的杜氏旅游景区则通过市场开拓和经营努力,不断推进旅游产品创新,在近年来新疆遭遇旅游接待人数滑坡的时期仍然保持了较好的发展态势。本文的研究结果揭示了旅游资源开发也存在着“资源诅咒”效应,旅游业经营需要警惕资源诅咒现象,避免过度依赖旅游资源,充分发挥民营经济的活力,不断提升旅游业的创新能力和经营竞争力。
This paper takes the Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Spot and the Tuzhu Scenic Spot in Changji Prefecture of Xinjiang as an example to analyze the impact of tourism resource abundance on tourism development. The results of this study reveal that there are also “resource curse” effects in the development of tourism resources. The tourism industry needs to guard against the resource curse phenomenon, avoid over-reliance on tourism resources, give full play to the vitality of the private economy, and continuously improve the innovation capability of tourism industry.
